The most awaited Super Mario Kart Hack of all time
Super Luke Kart is a Project I created in a Channel Partnership: Resenhando Com Luke and The World of Hack ROM's Facebook Group.
The main idea is to create new tracks to have the pleasant feeling of playing the original game from new perspectives but with similar quality.
Through this Project I also want to bring the members of the Channel closer together, giving them the possibility to create their own track that will be part of Hack!
I am very excited about this project, I really hope that it will work and that there will be a lot of participation from the members who make this Channel !!!
HOW IT WORKS:
First of all, I'm creating the tracks and testing them as I have time. My idea first was to create 3 cups with my tracks and make the Special Cup the Members' Cup. However, when spreading the idea, luckily I received more leads than I thought and ended up opening the possibility of 3 more leads for the members to do.
I'm working on this project through the Epic Edit and Tile Molester programs, where I managed to make some changes that will be explained below:
- Character exchange
VERSION 1.0
I got some sprites from other hacks and asked the subscribers and members what they would like to see in the hack, via Poll, the characters were chosen:
- Ken
- Pikachu
- Plankton
- Bomberman
- Ryu
- R. Mcdonald
- Donkey Kong - DKC
- Sonic
VERSION 1.1
- Mario
- Shyguy
- Bowser Jr.
- Kamek
- Luigi
- Yoshi Red
- Wario
- Diddy Kong
NOTE: As the characters are removed from other hacks, we will have Two versions of the hack, SLK Version 1.0 (With the characters changed) and SLK Version 1.1 (Characters from the Super Mario Universe).
- Name of Cups and Tracks
This part I already had in mind the names of the tracks were like this:
Luke Cup (Mushroom Cup)
Top Cup (Flower Cup)
Member's Cup (Star Cup)
Mix Rcl Cup (Special Cup)
Tracks:
- Luke's Raceway (Mario Circuit)
- Bridge That Falls (Donut Plains)
- Boo's Valley (Ghost Valley)
- Zika Beach (Koopa Beach)
- Flood (Chocolate Island)
- North Pole (Vanilla Lake)
- Detona Castle (Bowser Castle)
- Space (Rainbow Road)
One cool thing about the hack is that a space has been opened here for the Group members who want to design a track to enter the game.
One of the cups would be for these tracks, that is, we would have 5 tracks from the members in the Members Cup plus 3 tracks in the Mix RcL Cup that will bring tracks from me and from subscribers, totaling 8 tracks from the subscribers and the rest of my authorship. In addition to 4 battle tracks I made.
It was done as follows:
Interested parties sent a Draft with the raw design of the track and it was up to me to do it in Epic Edit in the best possible way, some members have also sent the completed track of Epic Edit itself.
In the end it was not a professional job, but I was very proud.
Below are the drawings of the tracks in the order they are in the game:

In addition to the information, several Gameplays tests were carried out that you can follow in the Group: The Word of Hack ROM's or in the PlayList below:
PROJECT: SUPER LUKE KART
BETA was passed to the TESTORS who brought me Feedback to finally release the final version!
RETURN OF TESTORS:
Gridattack:
1 - The Bridge that Falls 3 has a messy tileset.
The starting position is also wrong, as you can loop around it and make several turns.
Resolution: just add a wall or extend the finish line completely and it should work.
2 - I noticed that in the Bridge that Falls 2 you added a wall to avoid the shortcut that had warned you, it can still be done in Time Trial with the fastest characters, but it is complicated.
3 - There is a mistake in the Luke Raceway 2, you can touch that line on the way and the lap will not count.
Resolution: Just move the line to the wall
4 - In Space 2, you can use your momentum and jump to the finish line, bypassing the last corner.
Resolution: moving the Turbos to the other track would be good.
Space 2
5 - In North Pole 2, you can always skip the lower half of the track, just jump from the ice to the finish line.
Resolution: Some blue walls may work, you could still make the shortcut with a mushroom, but it won't be as easy as it is now.
BlueYoshi:
1 - Ponte Que Cai 2 is just Donut Plains 1 with an added jump.
Resolution: Placed a ramp in case you fall into the anti-shortcut and get out.
2 - There is a mistake in the Luke 2 Track, you can touch that line on the way and the lap will not count.
Resolution: Just move the line to the wall
3 - In North Pole 2, you can always skip the bottom half of the track, just jump from the ice to the finish line.
Resolution: Cited by GridAttack
Gatts Shinobi
1 - Slopes Space 1 and 2 the stones are not working, they are invisible.
Resolution: Thwomps Fixed or removed.
2 - Ponte Que Cai 3 is with the I.A very fast, it should be more competitive in the 150cc is very difficult to win.
Resolution: Decreased in strategic points.
3 - Praia Zika 2 has a very fast AI, it should be more competitive, since AI does not lose speed in the water and we lost a lot and slowed down the opponents.
Resolution: Fixed phase cut-off.
4 - Detona Castle 3 in the jump seems to have an invisible wall that sometimes makes it impossible and makes us have to return to the track and jump again.
Resolution: Corrected, jump before the wall.
Ashley Alexander
1 - The Luke Cup is beautiful, but I didn't like the oil stains from the last Space 1 race, but the tracks are great.
2 - Edit the bodies of the characters on the podium, as they are bugged with the bodies of the original characters.
Resolution: Checking how I can make this type of change.
3 - Edit the Faces of the characters that appear on the side after each victory, as the faces of the original characters appear.
Resolution: Checking how I can make this type of change.
4 - Detona Castle 3 in the jump seems to have an invisible wall that sometimes makes it impossible and makes us have to return to the track and jump again.
Resolution: Corrected, jump before the wall.
5 - Slopes Space 1 and 2 the stones are not working normally, some are invisible and others appear out of nowhere and hit us, this irritates us a lot.
Resolution: Thwomps Fixed or removed. The invisibles are part, because it is the last clue and now is going to be angry lol
6 - Praia Zika 2 has a very fast AI, it should be more competitive, since AI does not lose speed in the water and we lost a lot and slowed down the opponents.
Resolution: Fixed phase cut-off.

1 - Deton Castle 3 in the jumps seems that there is an invisible wall that sometimes makes it impossible and makes us have to return to the track and jump again.
Resolution: Corrected, jump before the wall.
I WANT TO THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TESTED AND GIVEN ME THE FEEDBACK, THAT HELPED HACK TO GET BETTER.
Below are the tracks that changed after the testers returned:
1 ° The first was made a barrier on the left side because it was possible to cut half the track when jumping with the turbo.
2 ° After the jump, just come to the right and cut half the track. A wall and a ramp were placed in case the person accidentally fell there, managed to get out.
3 ° This was more evident but nobody noticed only GridAttack and Blueyoshi, after seeing it is ridiculous, regardless of which side you are on when you reach the middle of the track, just jump to the middle and pass the turn. Nobody who played tried to do that kkkkk. Placed an ice wall on the sides in order to avoid this cheating.
4 ° This one I corrected the start because it was more up and could run to the runner there at the beginning and pass the laps. Also, slow down a little because the CPU was accelerating too much and I fixed the path that no one had seen since it was a path, that brown part.
5 ° I gave a slowdown in the CPU and a way in the cut path, now there are not so many obstacles and some turbos!
6 ° Some people mentioned that the stones were not working properly, some disappeared, some appeared out of nowhere and others were out of torque, like ghosts. Problem apparently fixed.

- First of all, I would like to thank my subscriber Number 1 Caleb who always watches videos, regardless of which one. A big hug for you Caleb.
- Discord Server: SMK Workshop - Once this server handles too much of every detail of the SMK game, I've been there for a few months and I was amazed with so much information so much new stuff that is discussed there every day. It only made my affection and curiosity for the game grow even more.
- Mario Designer - What about the guy who made my eyes shine when showing that I could also do a hack. That's the guy! First Brazilian who showed how to do it, author of some great Hacks and some really cool fan games. It is worth checking out his work.
- R4MON: SMK Workshop - one of the most active on the server helped me a lot with the sprites created for the Epic Edit format.
- Fco64: Mano has been with the Channel Groups for a long time and always helps with good ideas. In addition, he tested the hack, sent 2 beautifully designed tracks and corrected some sprites. Speechless.
- Dan Morishima: For introducing myself to the Discord Servers where I discovered thousands of new things.
- robg1979: Hacker sharing partner.
-Thedarkbanshee: My Brother also helped me a lot with advice on Hack, he is also included among the subscribers who sent hacking clues. Despite the language barrier, we talked a lot.
- And especially to Stifu who made all this possible, unraveling all the code in the game, creating Epic Edit. Thank you very much bro.
